"Nem tudo que reluz é ouro" ❘"All that glitters is not gold"

Este projeto foi desenvolvido nas aulas de ilustração. A proposta era escolher um ditado popular e fazer uma ilustração sobre ela, e, depois, aplicá-la em uma página dupla de revista, fazendo uma diagramação.
This project was developed at illustration classes. The proposal was to chose a popular proverb and turn it into an illustration, applying in a magazine double page, with a diagramation.
O processo ❘ The process
A partir da interpretação e desconstrução do ditado, defini alguns signos visuais para serem bem aproveitados na ilustração. O aforismo quer dizer que nem tudo que acreditamos é verdade de fato; mas também pode ser interpretado do modo como está escrito.
Na desconstrução da frase, pesquisei as definições das palavras-chave reluzir e ouro.
Reluzir (denotativo): Brilhar, resplandecer (conotativo): aparentar
Ouro (denotativo): Metal precioso (conotativo): rico, verdadeiro
Assim, cheguei na escolha dos signos: raio e magma.
Ambos são fenômenos naturais, resplandescentes e visualmente atraentes, porém, são muito conhecidos por causar destruições ao redor do mundo. Há um senso de antagonismo muito forte, é algo que brilha, resplandece, mas não é ouro (não traz coisas boas).

From the interpretation and deconstruction of the dictation, I established some visual signs to be used. The aphorism means that not everything we believe is true; but can also be interpreted in the way that is written, literally.
At the sentence deconstruction, I researched the definitions of the keywords glitter and gold.
Glitter (denotative): shine, radiate (connotative): appear
Gold: (denotative): a precious metal (connotative): abundant, true
Therefore, I got to the sign choices: the lightning bolt and magma.
They're both natural phenomenons, resplendent and visually attractive, however, they are known for causing natural disasters around the world. There's a very strong antagonism sense, something that shine, but is not gold (do not bring good things).
